From a single website to a full product build
Six groups of work. Most projects use two or three of them, and the mix gets decided during scoping rather than sold as a bundle.
- Website strategy, sitemaps, and information architecture
- UI/UX design and interactive prototypes
- Corporate, business, and multi-page marketing sites
- Landing pages built around a single conversion
- Responsive redesigns and platform migrations
- Design systems and reusable component libraries
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and usability work
- Core Web Vitals and front-end performance
- Custom web applications, dashboards, and internal tools
- Client and partner portals with role-based access
- React, Next.js, and TypeScript front-ends
- PHP and Python back-end services
- Database design on PostgreSQL and Supabase
- REST and GraphQL API design
- Third-party and legacy system integration
- MVPs scoped to test an idea before the full build
How we scope this: custom software is quoted after a discovery conversation, not from a price list. The work varies too much between a two-screen internal tool and a multi-tenant portal for a monthly figure to mean anything.
- WooCommerce stores, from catalogue to checkout
- Shopify builds and theme development
- Headless commerce with Medusa.js
- Platform migration with URL and SEO continuity
- Payment, shipping, and tax integrations
- Subscriptions and recurring billing
- Multi-currency and multi-language storefronts
- Checkout and product-page conversion work
Headless is not our default. It earns its extra cost and complexity when you need several storefronts from one catalogue, a checkout that standard platforms can’t express, or traffic that a conventional build struggles with. For a straightforward catalogue it is the wrong choice — a well-built WooCommerce or Shopify store does the same job for less, and we will say so.
- WordPress, Gutenberg, and Full Site Editing
- Custom blocks, themes, and plugins
- Headless WordPress over REST API or WPGraphQL
- Sanity CMS for structured, multi-channel content
- Content modelling and migration
- Multi-site and multi-language setups
- Editorial workflow, roles, and permissions
- Editor training and written handover docs
The test we apply: can a non-technical editor make a routine change unaided a month after launch? If a proposed setup fails that, it’s the wrong setup — however modern the stack.
- Native iOS and Android applications
- Cross-platform builds from one codebase
- Mobile UI/UX and interaction design
- Back-end, API, and authentication for apps
- Offline behaviour, push notifications, deep links
- App Store and Play Store submission support
- MVPs for new digital products
- Post-launch iteration and release management
Native or cross-platform? Cross-platform costs less and ships sooner when both platforms need to do the same thing. Native is worth paying for when you depend on device hardware, heavy graphics, or behaviour specific to one platform. That decision belongs in scoping, with your requirements in front of us — not in a sales pitch.
- Technical, on-page, and local SEO
- Keyword and content strategy
- Google Search, Shopping, and social advertising
- Analytics, event tracking, and reporting
- Conversion rate optimisation and testing
- Email marketing and lifecycle campaigns
- AI-assisted content and support workflows
- CRM, lead routing, and reporting automation
On AI and on results: automated workflows are built with a human review step, because an unreviewed pipeline sending client-facing output is a liability, not a feature. We report on what the analytics actually show. We don’t promise rankings, and no agency that does can control them.

Custom software and apps — scoped after discovery

Test, Launch & Grow

For websites, most projects are delivered in 4–10 weeks depending on scope. A simple 5-page business site with a standard design can be launched in 3–4 weeks. A complex store with custom integrations typically takes 8–12 weeks. Custom software and mobile apps vary far too much to quote a range here honestly — those get a timeline after discovery, along with the estimate. Either way you get a detailed schedule before work starts.
No. WordPress and WooCommerce are where we have the deepest track record and they remain the right answer for a lot of content and catalogue work. But we also build custom applications, Shopify stores, headless setups, and mobile apps, and the platform is a decision we make with you during discovery — based on what you need to do, who maintains it, and what budget it has to live within. If the simpler platform does the job, we’ll tell you so rather than sell you the larger build.
A website presents information and converts visitors — pages, content, a contact form, perhaps a store. A web application does work: accounts and permissions, data that changes, business rules, integrations with systems you already run. The practical signal is whether you’re describing pages or describing a process. If a spreadsheet, an inbox, or a manual hand-off is currently holding something together, that’s usually application territory, and it’s scoped and priced differently from a website.
Yes, native or cross-platform. Cross-platform costs less and ships sooner when iOS and Android need to do the same thing; native is worth paying for when you depend on device hardware, heavy graphics, or behaviour specific to one platform. We make that call with you during scoping once the requirements are clear. It’s also worth asking whether you need an app at all — for a lot of businesses a fast mobile website solves the same problem without an app store, a review cycle, or two codebases to maintain.
Yes — that’s a requirement we design for, not an afterthought. On WordPress we build with the Gutenberg block editor and Full Site Editing so you can update pages, add posts, change images, and manage products without touching code; other content platforms we work with are set up to the same standard. Every build includes a walkthrough session after launch and written documentation. The test we apply is simple: a non-technical editor should be able to make a routine change unaided a month later.
Yes. We offer monthly maintenance packages covering security updates, plugin updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and priority support. For clients on our digital marketing packages, support is included. Details are discussed at the proposal stage so there are no surprises.
Every website we build includes on-page SEO foundations: clean URL structure, correct heading hierarchy, page speed optimisation, schema markup, meta tags, and Google Search Console setup. Ongoing SEO — content creation, link building, and monthly reporting — is available as part of our digital marketing packages.
Yes — our primary office is in Toronto, Ontario, and we work with businesses across Canada and internationally. We have a development team in Kathmandu, Nepal which allows us to maintain competitive pricing while delivering Toronto-quality work. We’ve completed projects for clients in Canada, the US, Sweden, and elsewhere.
We offer both. Most project-based work (new website builds) is quoted at a fixed price after the discovery phase, so you know exactly what you’ll pay. Ongoing retainer work — such as monthly SEO, marketing, or maintenance — is priced as a monthly package. Hourly rates are available for smaller ad-hoc development tasks.
We’ve worked across a wide range of industries including e-commerce, professional services, restaurants, health and wellness, real estate, construction, legal, and non-profits. Our portfolio includes B2B and B2C brands at various stages from startup to established business.
